The Rim Nordic 12 hour MTB race is coming up next month. Colavita should have a great turnout with a couple of teams and possibly
some solo entries. Time to get out the mountian bike and join the fun with your club. This should be a spectacular event. Don't miss it!!

It's been a busy month for club Colavita. We have had 3 marathon runners (Congratulations Jen, Mundo and Brett!), many
century riders and just
this weekend the Colavita MTB team had five of it's team members enter and finish the Santa Ynez Valley Classic US Cup
series race. Thanks to all the team members that put in the effort and made such a good showing for Colavita SoCal! With
our sweet kits I am sure we turned a few heads. Results are posted and race writeups will follow soon. We also had a good
showing from our local Simi Tuesday night MTB crew. Congratulation to Scott McClave (3rd Cat1 19-24), Phil Kelly
(10th cat1 35-39) & Jim Spotts (15th cat2 40-44).
The next few months should be very busy with many team races still planned and many club members personnel fitness goals
being challenged. Good luck to all and can't wait to see you all on the regular Sunday ride and hear all the stories!

Welcome Colavitians to the new year! As most of are aware the new gear has arrived and the Club is anxious to show it off in force at the
Palm Springs Century. Come out and join the fun at one of the best certuries of the year.
Also check out the updated race team page. The 2009 season has already begun and Colavita is off to a flying start in endurance racing thanks
to Art, Vince and Tim's great finish at the 12 hours of Temecula round #1 in January. As for the cross country team, the first race of the Year
is coming up March 1st at Bonelli Park. This race should be bigger and better than ever and In&Out is even serving free hamburgers to the racers
after the race! The SoCal State MTB series is much improved this year and should be a fun and challanging time for all members that
want to try their hand at MTB racing. If you have a mountian bike gathering dust in that garage, dust it off and come out and have some fun or
just bring the family to enjoy the great weather and cheer on the team!

Allright everyone, the new clothing designs for the 2009 season are available now and the Club 2009 team clothing orders are due by December 1st! Email Aaron
a completed order form once you have downloaded it and filled it out, as no orders will be accepted throught the message board this year.

Colavita weekly Tuesday night fall MTB ride posted on the Calendar. Get out the mountian bike and lights and come out for some mid-week stress
reduction therapy. Don't forget to bring along a friend!
Are you interested in locally grown organic food? Check out
Abundant Harvest Organics. We are lucky enough to have them deliver organic crops to Simi Valley every week. I highly recommend
this group of California farmers for both the quality and the price.

the "Special" guest that joined our group! Let's just say its someone that has won the Tour de France more than a few times.

Attention Club members! Bill was unfortunately hit by a motorcycle during the Sunday club ride and is currently in the hospital. Please keep him
and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Information is available on the forum about his current status.
