Bonelli SoCal State Rd #1
The San Dimas course consisted of 4 major climbs with fast wide open descents. I raced Cat 2 15-16.
I rode the first lap in 2nd place, 20 seconds behind the leader. On the first climb of the 2nd lap,
the leader I and were caught and passed putting me into 3rd. I maintained 40 seconds behind the leader and 20
behind 2nd place. With two miles to go I got a pinch flat. After getting it fixed, my CO2 did not work and I had
to wait for some passerby to lend me a pump. I lost 5 spots, but hammered and caught one guy. I ended up 7th out
of 8 with a ride time of 1:14 and an overall time of 1:22.
